For those interested, the Washington Area Girls Soccer League has cancelled the WAGS tournament scheduled for this weekend in the DC area due to the dangers, real and percieved, the serial murderer might pose. This was the preimminent girls classic invitational tourney on the east coast and its cancellation is a sad example of what a single (or two) terrorist/madman can do to change the behavior of a society. They are leaving the door open to a rescheduled tournament but the effort and time needed to organize such an event would seem to make this unlikely.
