GFC/Super-Y will have tryouts this Sunday, the 26th, for the 2003 season (time will be from 2:00 to 4:00 at the GFC complex for those interested). GFC/Super-Y ages will be U-14 boys and girls and up, including U-19. If you need directions go to www.greenvillefc.com or for additional info call 235-1915.

If I understand correctly, these are some early Fall tryouts for boys and girls who will be playing U-15 through U-18 this coming Fall.

As well as a look at players for the Super-Y this season.

Who coaches the super y team in greenville? Are your sons playing high school ball?

There will be various GFC coaches handling different teams. But I'm guessing Chris Barrett will coach the 17s to get them ready for Regionals and the other GFC Regional teams will likely use their fall coach too. Great thing is the Super-Y team can carry like 25 on the roster, so vacations and etc don't hammer a team.

The boys are playing HS and really looking forward to the season starting next week. Thanks for asking.

The GFC/Super-Y tryout this Sunday, the 26th, will be rescheduled due to the forcast for bad weather. I'll let you know when the date is set again.

The GFC tryouts have been rescheduled for February
16th at the Wenwood Soccer complex off Ridge Rd. This is a "first-look" at players for the fall club season and then a Super-Y tryout. The Super-Y is being handled exclusively by GFC in the upstate, but nonGFC players are welcome. Time is 3:30 to 5:30 PM.

Mr Fuzy...you better remind drew and mitch who won that upstate semi-finals game last year.. and who brought home the gold! Because its gonna happen again this year! Cya @ ODP & Tryouts.

It was just an honor for little ol Daniel to be on the field with such a powerhouse last year! I'm quite sure they remember who won that game, it would be fun if we were fortunate enough to get that far again this year...(how's that Robbie?)See you Sunday, Joe...

Do you guys have any mens soccer there or is it just for the kids? I've just turned 22 if that qualifies me for any particular age group, though I doubt it does!
