We completed the scheduled tryouts for the U-12 and U-13 girls classic teams last weekend, but we still need to fill a few positions on each team. Both teams have a good nucleus to build around, but additional players are needed to field competitive teams at each age group. We are looking for girls with previous soccer experience and/or athletic girls willing to work hard to obtain the skills needed to compete at the classic level of play. We offer some of the best soccer training available in the state by qualified coaches at a very reasonable price. The SSC girls' program has had continued success through individual player growth along with the development of successful teams. Our U-15 SSC Starz team won the first ever Challenge Cup State Championship for SSC, and our U-16 & U-17 teams have competed every year for the top honor. Last year the U-11 & U-12 teams both had successful seasons and competed for the Classic State Cup Championships at their respective age groups. The girls program at SSC is the main reason that the local high school has achieved success over the years.
We need your help in finding a few additional players to round out the U-12 & U-13 teams for next season. Even if there is just marginal interest, please have them call Clark or Craig to discuss their options.
