Does everybody remember at the beginning of the season, when Sumter High was kicking but and taking names? Well what happened? Did a key player or role player get injured, and they keep getting beat at that spot, or has their momentum just run out? Lookin for feedback.

Sumter has struggled on offense against the better teams it seems to me. It could make some adjustments going into the playoffs and turn that around.

I don't think anything is wrong. I think it is just parity. They beat James Island and Wando at the Wando pre-season tournament and have losses against Dutch Fork, Spring Valley (2x) and Ridge View. They avenged the loss to Ridge View and 2 of their losses were in PKs (SV and DF). Three of their four losses were on the road Also, their tie was 2-2 against Riverside. They could very easily have one loss or be undefeated.

When we played them they played just as good as SV and DF and others but we just played a lot better than normal.....we held them to 4-0. They missed a few, but we also gave them a few so its about the right score...its no fluke either, we lost in the last 3 seconds to RNE 2-1.

see as you see sumter has a chance at state so some of yall teams need not to count them out
