I am not meaning to belittle their success, but how good is the competition here. U17B 2-0 and 5-1 wins sound tooooooo easy. They had a much tougher time at state cup.

gfcpop,
What good guest players does CESA have at Score?
I agree with irmonow, it doesn't appear to be a strong field there, so CESA will probably do well.

U17 Boys
CESA 87 Preier - 1

Schwabwn A.C. National - 0

Not sure on the strength of the competition. I do know CESA is missing 7 players and are playing with only 11. I don't know who the guest players. I heard Brendon Kyte and Schyler Reardon and Nick Schumerman were going, but not sure. They must have at least three to be playing with only 11, I think they only have 15 on their team.

GFCPOP21 -- If it's such a "premier" tourney, then why does CESA have only 11 players attending the tournament? Probably because those players realize that high school soccer is more fun, and that not much materializes at these "farce of club tourneys". Why didn't those that you mention attend? Playing with their HS team perhaps? What schools are the mighty CESA 87s going to for college -- if it's not DI major college conferences -- do NOT respond. I don't want to hear Anderson and PC mentioned as good soccer programs!

Eric Balfour, Brendan Kight, and Nick Schuermann are guest playing at the tournament with CESA 87s. Most likely because their high schools are not playing this weekend. Also, several players were unable to attend due to injuries and illness.

I don't get all the animosity. All GFC Pop was doing was posting scores. The last time I checked this was the Club/ODP thread.
Where is all this other stuff coming from- farce of club tourneys, high school versus club, college destinations for 17 year olds. Listen to yourself.
