PG scored off a misplayed long ball by the PPS sweeper about ten minutes in and held on. PPS outshot PG by a large margin (don't know total, SOG were 8-3 in favor of PPS). Very hard played game by both sides.

After watching my son play classic soccer for six years, it is heartening to see a match played as cleanly as today. Both sides played hard and patted each other on the back after the game. Congrats to both teams and to Coach Brown and Coach Suarez.

Paruthead, who is your son on the team? Because I am thinking you are the father of the tall goal keeper for summerville and Pine wood. If so I forgot your sons name. But I do remember playing ODP with him two years ago in Atlanta. He also had an older brother that played on the same club team. They were real strong players. And if these aren't your kids than maybe you will be able to help me and tell me who they are. Thanks.

Not my sons, but you're talking about Josh and Wayne Pavlischek. Josh is a senior midfielder while little brother Wayne (6'3" 215# sophomore)is the keeper. Wayne is watching this season from the sidelines after tearing his ACL trying to be a football player.

RV beat Aiken in overtime PKs. Tough loss for Aiken. They really had something going. Hopefully they wont move down in rankings. It shouldn't.

Lugoff-Elgin beat Camden Military Academy 6-2 tonight to stay undefeated against the Spartans. I guess you could say Flora was a wake-up call. L-E led I think 4-1 or 3-1 at the half. Goals from Matt Harris 3 and I think Gerrado had the other 3 but I could be wrong. One of Gomez's goals was off a free kick a little outside the 18...it was sweet. Anyways...Solid defense tonight and just solid play all around. L-E plays Camden friday night for 2nd place in the region. L-E is 3-2 in the region while Camden is 1-3 in region play. Good job Demons.
