The Legend faced off once again against a very familiar CESA team in the final. Although the CESA team had a short roster and some injured players they came out with a hunger to score and put away two quick goals that would stand until the end of the game. Several of the Legend players found themselves behind the CESA defense but just could not seem to find the back of the net. After 80 minutes the score stood at CESA 2 MPSC Legend 0. It was a very hard fought game on both sides and both teams will now be eligible for the Premier League next fall.

I don't think that I've ever seen a youth soccer club article that mentions the opposing team in such a positive way...really impressive sportsmanship by MPSC!
