ACTUALLY, those two players from Mt. Pleasant were previously on the SSC Lightning U12 Boys team. They never played for the Bridge FA.

CIWS*GK, you seem to be inferring that The Bridge FA Gold team was hurt by Mt. Pleasant “gaining” those two players. Maybe you could clarify exactly why the players changed clubs. If I remember correctly, one of them tried out, but did not make the Bridge team. The other wanted to focus more on another sport, and felt the Mt. Pleasant team was not as serious about soccer as the Bridge team. Small details, I suppose.

That’s an awful bold statement about Mt. Pleasant winning the cup – no “I think” or “maybe”? How did they do against the other teams in the bracket, and what has changed since the Fall that will put them out on top?

Hurst66, GVLSoccerDad is correct, and they have a very competitive team.

Belligerent, the lightning team is the Bridge team, same coach and almost all the same players.

You're statement is Correct about the two players, nothing inferred.

I guess as competitive as the Tega Cay team is....they are going to finish no better than 5th.

Very good age group.....quality teams.

I agree this is a good age group. Very competitive. Best players in this age group by position? I can think of three:

Forward - CESA Premier - big kid, finisher
Forward - Lower State (MP or Bridge) really fast forward - can't remember which team but good finisher and FAST
Defense - Bridge sweeper.

Good luck and Cheers to all the fine players in this group.

I guess noone noticed the forward for NECSA U13 last fall. He finished 2nd or 3rd in league scoring on a mediocre team. Whereas the other top scorers were all on top teams with much better winning percentages. Keep a look out for him this season!

What is the kids name from NECSA? I heard that team lost some players. Was he one of them?

His name is Cameron. He is big, fast, shoots with either foot and has good vision and feel for the game. He is playing '92 ODP this year and JV for AC Flora as a 7th grader. His assists would have been much higher in the fall if anyone else could put the ball in the back of the net. The team lost one player from the fall which should not affect them much. They did lose a couple of players from last years team but the addition of this kid compensates for any of those loses.

Is he on the team or in the pool for the 92's? Who coaches that age group?

And up from the 36 Chambers

Ricardo and Asa from Tega Cay are tough. Asa is big and physical, while Ricardo is smaller, but quick and very talented.

Mt. Pleasant has a very quick, muscular forward in Jerrell.

Bridge Reds have two excellent midfielders in L'Amoreaux and Nico Rittmeyer and a very quick, wily forward in Eads.

Seems like Lexington had a little Hispanic kid who was very good.
