Hurst66 world cup Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 5,659 Tega Cay, SC	This is a great idea and needs to be done. Academy club teams should play against Academy club teams. It's not fair when a traditional club team comes up against an academy club team in a tournament. Academy teams do not maintain "roster integrity" all season long and therefore could be perceived, rightly or wrongly, as having a competitive advantage. I witnessed this first hand with the Atlanta Silverbacks U-11 girls in a tournament in Atlanta last spring.

OP Shibumi coach S Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 2,170	I sent a note to CESA asking about the Adidas teams only restriction; I got a note back that this means in order to participate, clubs/teams have to be sponsored by Adidas or wear Adidas uniforms.
