A new SCYSA soccer team is being formed in the Northeast Columbia & West Wateree of Kershaw County. We need a coach. The team will start at U-11 in the fall of 2006 and will continue on throughout High school. We are looking for an experienced coach that wants good players and parent support. Team will compete in SCYSA tournaments throughout SC. Coach will be responsible for tryouts, team selection and practice and games. Parent team will take care of all expenses and some compensation for the coach. If you have a child this age and are an experienced coach or player and want to watch your son progress, this may be a great opportunity for you.

Have you thought about bringing your players to the new Columbia United FC to play? Is the driving distance to Polo Road alot?

just something to think about.

Windmill,
Did you check with NECSA first about starting your new club?

I understand that SCYSA Bylaw 214 is now being read to require that at least two thirds of the membership of a new club must be proficient with a woodwind instrument. Proficiency will be evaluated by a special committee.
