Jakes II 10-3 Pride FC (BC Alumn minus graduated seniors of this year, something about the beach, and summer...losers...)
Devil Alumni 6-6 The Alumn (Ridge View)
Specialized Fitness 1-11 SV Gold

BFC did pretty well considering they met eachother while stepping out on the field...give us a couple of weeks, and the competition (namely SV) will be wishing they'd played in the rec division.

All apologies to Josh Settle.. not sure what I was thinking..

..so much for Pride FC being stacked.

Thought everyone might want to know..

BFC improved to 3-0 with a 13-4 spanking of "The Gunners" tonight.

We came out a little flat, but eventually the flood gates opened and goals came one after the other.

At 3-0 with 9 points BFC has sole possession of 1st place in the standings. Next Sunday, July 2nd BFC faces 4th place "Jakes II" @9PM.

PS - We are straight SICK nasty.

With one sub BFC beat Jakes II tonight 7-4.

BFC is at 4-0 now.. yeah.. we're like.. good.

Well.. Summer 2006 Regular Season at the Plex is over.

BFC ended up 6-1..losing their only match to the Dreher guys/Rushe by two goals. BFC goes into the playoffs as the #2 seed in Men's Gold Division. Sunday 9:05 #2 BFC plays #7 Pride FC. Should be interesting.


WHILE..

Carolina Crossfire finished the regular season with a loss to Heritage Electric (the only indoor team I've seen have a coach ) Crossfire boasts a record of 1-6 and as the #8 seed will play the #9 seed Bengals Tuesday at 6ish ..for the right to play #1 Cayce Black that same night around 8 o'clock.

Parity folks..that's the name of the game.

Congratulations to the CAYCE BLACK team that posted a 6-0-1 (19 points) mark which was good for 1st Place in the Summer League ... This team is comprised of rising '07-'10 Bearcat players.
