Can anyone give me any information on the 19U state up this weekend or tell me where I can find some information on it?

strictly hearsay...
the cup will be held at CUFC fields in Northeast columbia. I understand that CESA plays Aiken Fire at 10 and another game in the PM. Best out of 3.

Are Eric, Jamaal, and Goose playing for Aiken?

What about U19 Girls? Is there a state cup for them this weekend as well?

I asked around and found out the following:

(1) As futbol(soccer) said, Aiken plays CESA at the CUFC (the old NECSA) fields at 10:00AM and 4:00PM. A game will be held Sunday if necessary.

(2) There is no CESA U19G team. Given that they were the only U19G team last year, my guess is that there is no state cup for U19G this year.

Yes Goose, Eric and Jamal are all playing for Aiken

from the sound of it i have a new name for the Fire. Lets just Start calling them Goose?Eric/Jamal U 19. They have alot of other great players too. Yeah those threee are big time, but when you look at it they all are.

city of aiken soccer: It's an interesting proposal, but it's way too long a name to really catch on. How about "Goerja"? That's a lot shorter and captures the essence of your proposal. Maybe "Jamergo"? Or "Ergojam"?

More seriously, I apologize if in asking a question you feel that I'm somehow insulting the other players. Maybe you could tell us more about the other kids that have come back and/or joined the Fire. For example, is Rob Victor playing?

All the kids that used to play for the Fire were all extremely good and all went on to probably play D-1 college soccer. But I think CESA may challenge them.
