Look at the U15 boys - CESA 90, DSC and Carolina Select (NC) are all in the same bracket so they get to go to Regionals to play the same teams they play in premier.
CESA U18 Boy's declined pl-north spot due to both goalies are still injured from high school soccer and cannot play and only 9 - 10 other players were available.
striker, looks like you were wrong about the reason CESA did not go. However, maybe DSC will get lawyers involved and petition for something to avoid playing CESA and Carolina Select much like they did during State Cup.

I always thought that the Regionals had the best club teams in the respective regions.
This is U18. Half of the kids don't want to waste their time for a week playing soccer if they aren't playing in college. Also some people dont want to waste thousands of dollars to go play soccer. That is why so many teams probably declined the opportunity to go as PL North representative. But other than a few teams Regionals does have the best club teams in the region.
