In F.A. Cup results this weekend, the quartefinal match between Arsenal and Newcastle ended in a 1-1 draw. The Gunner's scored first at the 10 minute mark by Edu. NUFC's Lauren Robert evened the match at the 53 minute mark when he launched a strike past Richard Wright.

Although the Gunners did not start Dennis Bergkamp and Robert Pires, they were brought in late in the match to try and finish off Newcastle. However, NUFC playing without Craig Bellamy and Kieron Dyer still managed to force the attack and were by far the stronger side, but were unable to finish at the end. This results in a quarterfinal rematch that should prove to be very entertaining.

Best of luck to Arsenal...even though I like Newcastle, too...
