The Greenville Lions Premier PDL Team are a college aged U23 development team which will kick off it's inaugural season this coming weekend, with 2 games on Friday 5/10 and Sunday 5/12.
The Lions Premier are a member of the Premier Development League (PDL) of the United Soccer Leagues and are the highest level of amateur soccer which a collegiate player can be involved in and still maintain his eligibility. The roster includes players from Clemson, South Carolina, Furman, Lander, Presbyterian, USCS, plus many other top level college programs in SC and neighboring states.
The 5/10 game will be played at the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center at 7:30pm VS the Northern Virginia Royals professional team, and the 5/12 game will be played at Sirrine Stadium in Greenville at 3:30pm vs the Chesapeake Dragons from Maryland.
We will play 5 home games at Anderson Sports Complex and 5 games at Sirrine Stadium.
