Ballack is taking Germany's fate into his own hands. He had the only goal against the US that let Germany advance and the only goal against South Korea that puts them in the finals.
Well he won't have anything to do with a win or loss in the final because he received his second yellow of the knockout rounds. However I was impressed by his leadership throughout the tournament, and to come away with 3 goals and 4 assists is quite an effort.
Ballack has easily been one of, if not The, best players of the World Cup so far...its a shame he will miss the final because of the yellow card, but massive props to him for not moaning about it and then coming back to get the goal...
