Couple days old, but:

FA consider Man Utd probe

The Football Association may look into allegations that Manchester United players verbally abused Everton fans in Saturday's game at Goodison Park.
Groups of supporters filed statements to police after the game.

"Everton fans have complained to the club about the behaviour of the United players as they celebrated the winner," said Toffees spokesman Ian Ross.

An FA spokesman said: "Nothing has yet been brought to our attention but if it is, then we would look into it."

Ruud van Nistelrooy's late header secured a 4-3 win in a highly-charged contest that had seen Everton peg back United's three-goal half-time lead.

It is alleged United trio Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Cristiano Ronaldo made offensive gestures and swore at sections of the home support as they celebrated the winning goal.

Scores of disgusted fans stayed on after the final whistle to file statements to the police.

In a separate incident, an Everton supporter attempted to attack Ronaldo after he was brought down close to the far touchline shortly before he set up the visitors' winner

They never said a word - or even gestured in any way that could be construed as inciting the fans - they just celebrated as per usual - its been on telly here every 5 mins and there's nothing in it at all.

You obviously haven't seen the clear crotch chop from Cristiano Ronaldo. It looked very clear to me, and if you claim that it is on telly "over here", why post on the South Carolina soccer message board?

Listen son, I don't support Utd by any measure, but their celebrations at Goodison were not out of order at all - and by the way smart-as* "gesturing" was not the main complaint of the fans who took offence, it was what the players (Roy Keane & Ruud van Nistlerooy) allegedly said.

I'll bet you dollar to a dime that the FA find nothing wrong with their celebrations.

Of course the FA won't find anything wrong with it, how often do they find Utd. guilty of anything? They are clearly given a much easier time than any other club, son.
