The College of Charleston downed host USC 3-2 at Stone Stadium tonight in the First Round of the NCAAs ... It was a super game that saw a back-and-forth battle ... CofC held a 1-0 halftime lead and pushed the margin to 2-0, 16 minutes into the second half only to see Carolina charge back with a goal with 17 minutes to play ... That was followed by a Cougar tally on the 80th minute, but USC tightened the game a minute later, but CofC was able to hold on and advance to the 2nd Round of the NCAAs at UNC-Greensboro ... Attendance 1,266 and a very electric atmosphere!
