Hey L-E Dude,
Is this Hunter guy transfering from Clemson to CofC? Or is he straight out of high school?

Hunter Gilstrap has been at Clemson for..at least 2 years..maybe 3.. I can't really recall. He was keeper for Lexington in HS. My knowledge of the topic is really very limited though..

Yes he is transfering to CofC.....over the last 5 years it would be a toss up between Furman and Coastal......with CU right behind them. USC has been a shadow of what they once where. CofC has come on strong in the past two years.

Clemson, no doubt, has definitely got the most premier soccer team on earth.

Coastal has been the top soccer team in SC the past 2 year

I would say Furman has the most talent out of any Carolina school.

Who have you seriously heard of that has gone from CofC(which has a good program)go pro or better than that play for U.S. national team? Furman, USC, and Clemson have had quite a few go pro and now Dempsey from Furman starts for the national squad along with clint mathis(USC), josh wolf(USC). Right now Clemson and USC are in a rut but overall I think they both have the best programs. my .02 cents.

Guys, name aother program in the last couple of years that has placed 3 players in the MLS and constantly competes with schools much larger. Coastal is the strongest with C of C and Clemson falling behind in a close second.

2 to the LA galaxy and 1 to Chicago from Coastal.

USC has some great tallent coming in this year, i think they will the best in the state.

I keep hearing about alot of local(South Carolina) boys that are commiting to the Gamecocks. I hope they do well cause it seems like a big change from the past. I look forward to seeing them all play in the future.
