BE's Lawrence Smith scored 2 beautiful goals in the first minute of the game. One on a cross from Mark Frey, while the other off a corner kick with Smith bending it around the keeper.

Last night a number 3. Walhalla hosted a number 6. Chapman. Walhalla beat Chapman 4-0. Walhalla will now travel to conference rival Pendleton to play them in the Upperstate semi finals!

Pendleton will host Walahalla at 7:00 Saturday evening.

Wade Hampton 4 Barnwell 3. This game was actually played on tuesday though because we had class night at wade hampton on yesterday.

Very nasty and disrespectful, considering not all of B-L's players were there. First time B-L has scored on Chapin since 99. At least this is the last game that Chapin can run the score up, no more weak teams, GO EMERALD!!!!!

Emerald ripped Edisto 7-1. Should have been worse.

Chapin has absolutely NO class whatsoever. How could you even think of running a score up that high, especially during the playoffs. You needa give the teams a little respect. Even if your scrubs are playing you need to show a little decency. Anyways, I'm sure yall will be seeing BE in the state final. This will be a great match and may the best team win.

no the Emerald and Edisto game shouldn't have been worse than that, the game should have been about 3-1. Emerald takes dives like there is no tomorrow, one of their guys took a dive in the first like 5 minutes in the box and got a call, which was total bs. he was slick though i gotta give him that, he must have known he couldn't score on his own, but anyway the first 3 goals all where results of S**TY calls. and the little forward played offsides the whole game, the refs had to have been paid. There were like 10 cards given to Edisto, the ref was giving them out for perfectly legal slide tackles, one player asked how the call could be made like that and the ref replied that if it was legal then why was the player on the ground, my answer a DIVE! All the refs looked and officiated like they graduated from Emerald high school last year. Im not saying Edisto would have won the game, most likely we wouldn't have but it would have been a lot closer and Emerald is a bunch of cheats. Good luck to Chapin, #6 is all they got.

I know that you are probably still upset, or in your case confused , about the 7-1 loss on thursday night, but please don't let your frustrations out on the message board to clear your conscience. The game was not even close, and if you would just shut your mouth and get off this website because your team is out of season. If your team was seeded 5th in the upstate of 2A than Emerald should be a 1st seed in the upstate of 4A. You were outplayed and outclassed. Let's talk about class for a minute. You failed to mention that after your team realized that it would be your last game of the season , you began to foul, hack, kick, bite, and anything else that you rednecks do in edisto. Please don't sulk in your defeat for a long time. It isn't healthy for you. Look on the bright side, that is the last time that you will ever get pouned again, if you are a senior.
Have a nice life , but don't let the loss eat away at you for too long.

Hey Zach, you have absolutely no clue about soccer. You were one of the worst teams we played all year. You are lying to yourself and this website when you say it should have been 3-1. We put our scrubs in with 15 min to go. But you had a good season. That's all that counts.

Come on honestly, you must have been pretty scared of us if your team had to dive and whine to the refs. I have never seen cards being handed out for calls they didn't even see and that happened 2 min before the play was stopped. but i give you credit you were really good at getting calls your way, you know the way you act gay or whatever and pull peoples clothes out to make the refs see them getting their retaliation. Rednecks huh? well at least we aren't a bunch of gay whimpy misfits. and im not a senior so i will be back next year, no we won't win state and i admit it, but neither will you. LETS GO CHAPIN!!!!!!!!! I will be at the State Championships cheering you on.
