i agree with most except one

spain and france should be switched. france does have good league teams but theirs only 1 or 2 powerhouses dominating

and i think Michael Owen will be the next best #10 [Big Grin]

Buddy, Owen is a Forward which means he is a #9(a cherry picker).

Ronaldinho, Zidane, Totti, Figo, Donnovan, Blanco, Maradona, Riquelme, Dennilson; A #10, the attacking Plays of their team goes thourgh his feet, HE makes the attack.(they are usually center MF, or attacking MF)

thank u aleksandrus11 for clearing that up for the loser who thought i was wrong

i'm not a liverpool fan for no reason
and i probably know more about players than u do if u don't realize that one of the best england strikers has a # 10 on his back

and never diss owen again in ur life
owen is not a cherrypicker, he is going to be a legend in England.

I Like Netherlands and Brazil to be higher than italy and even spain. Those two are notorious chokers. Russia #9? pfff give me a break

netherlands and brazil are good, but not higher than italy or spain sorry... pretty much the greatest club teams are from europe, so i doubt brazil should be higher, as for netherlands being in europe, they don't have teams that can compete with real madrid, barca, juve, roma, milan

that should be a good rebuttle to ur comment. about russia, not sure so i have nothing to say lol

Star, before you make a post, you might want to do your research. Although yes, the best club teams are in Europe, look at the makeup of their squads and you will discover a large amount of brazilian and dutch players in them. For example, look at Real Madrid, who has Roberto Carlos, Cicinho, Julio Baptista, Ronaldo, and Robinho. The fact of the matter is, that the good national teams don't necessarily have to have a tremendous national league, rather, their good players quickly leave their native league and move to England, Italy, or Spain where the best in the world play, but when they go back to perform for their countries they are still very effective and dangerous. Don't forget the fact that Brazil won the last World Cup fairly convincingly. Nice try though Star, keep supporting Russia

i just want to get an answer to this question.

are we talking about clubs in countries, or are we talking about players from their original countries. if it is players from their original countries then that would go under fifa world rankings, not league rankings. if we're going with the most competitive leagues, what u said man u fan, has no relation to the topic. i know where all the players are from, but i think on this topic we're talking about how competitive each league is in the world

Oh man. Not gone give you an honest comment about this ranking thing.

In my opinion this is how it should be.

1. Spain
2. Italy
3. Brazil
4. England
5. Argentina (the skill level of Argentinans is better than the ELP but most of his players are in Europe, Argentina only has their young players and old players in their land).
6. Germany (may be better than the Argetina League because of the fact I gave you before, but I'll go with the Argentinan League just because of their skill level)
7. France
8. Mexico: There is not way Russian and Ukranian League are going to be better than the Mexican. That is just not right!

I am basing my rankings on the level of skills (just my point of view). Of course, Europeans have a lot more advertasing, technology, and players from all over the world, money in conclusion.

If you actually saw the game between San Pablo and Liverpool you'll see that Brazilian's skill is wayyyyy above Liverpool players (The Brazilian league should be more competitive than EPL) Even though San Pablo did not play better than Liverpool as a team. San Pablo was a lot more efficient with the ball, more dangerous.

If you follow the fact that San Pablo lost some of his talent, and they are not doing good in the Brazilian League. I think its amazing how they went there and beat Liverpool.

I'll do a research on the Leagues so you don't think I'm being "controversial." If EPL is better than the Spanish and the Italian. I'll be the firts one in here to apologize.

Later dude.
