yeah who is that announcer, wynalda or whoever we had before was like 8.3 times better...the whole "my friend chello here" thing really got me frustrated. domination on the part of usa, though.

i was most impressed that those were some of our younger players and norway brought a young squad so the future is looking bright.

well i thought it was a pretty good game overall for the US (5-0). i was most impressed w/ Demsey. i never have really liked him much but after sunday.. im a huge fan. i also thought jaqua(spell?) showed signs of brillance in the 10 or 15 mins he got. twellman played good of course. i just am not sold on him for some reason. i never have been a big fan. I think he could maybe..maybe.. be the next mcbride but we will see.

There's a pretty nice buildup in how the US friendlies have been scheduled. Japan and Guatemala will be tougher opponents for the US in February but both will be played here in the US. In March come the real tests; Poland and Germany on European soil. That's when we'll see who's really on the roster and who'll be watching on TV.

Wow! 5-0, what a well played game. Granted, Norway played mostly younger players, but still a great showing by our boys.
