Lexington HS senior Brett Keatley has signed with Davis & Elkins College of Elkins, West Virginia. The Senators are members of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and compete at the NCAA Division II level.
D&E is coached by Mark Stollsteimer, who played for Coastal Carolina University men's soccer coach Shaun Docking at the University of Richmond. The Senators had an overall record of 5-11-3 in 2005, but finished .500 in WVIAC play with a 3-3-1 mark.
Keatley has been an anchor in the midfield for Coach Will Gettys' Wildcats this season and has helped Lexington to a Top 10 ranking in Class 4A thus far.
