its accurate in the same way the US is #5 internationally (not that im not glad the US is number 5 but im sure we all know that may be a little high) ..it all depends on their schedules and goals and all that so im sure they came up w/ some retarded points system and thats how it came out..

half of that crap is garbage, he doesn't know what he's talking about

1. Juventus ( i agree )
2. Barcelona ( i agree )
3. AC Milan ( i agree )
4. Olympique Lyon ( i agree )
5. Chelsea ( without a doubt, they are a powerhouse )
6. Arsenal ( with what they have they are playing excellent soccer )
7. Liverpool ( i may be bias but same as arsenal, with what they have i've seen some excellent performances the last few games )
8. Bayern Muchen ( not living up to expectations )
9. Real Madrid ( they will be in any top 10 in my book anyday, and Ronaldo's still got it, nikesoccer.com, watch his video )
10. Manchester United ( reason i rank them here is because Ferguson is undergoing some changes right now, ruud is getting used to having 70-80 minute talks with ferguson on the sideline, actualy i should say quiet time, saha is performing and bringing the club to glory, they should be higher but for now i'm leaving them here )

he doesn't know what he's talking about ???... im guessing youre talkin about me star 11, and i actually do know what im talking about.. im sure those other teams youve never heard of bc you dont know as much as you think you do about soccer except in spain, england, and italy.. those teams that are ranked in that list dominate their leagues and have had good results in the past weeks just like liverpool and arsenal or whoever you said, and all im sayin is its a certain points system they put these teams in.. im not sayin those teams could beat man utd or real madrid or the people who made that "points system" knows what they are doing or anything like that.. im just sayin that a points system is probably how they came up w/ those rankings

JEez dude i wasn't saying u don't know soccer, i only put down people who have totally no idea about soccer, i was talking about those rankings on that page, and i must say that i know more than soccer here about a lot of people, i grew up in africa playing soccer ever since i could walk and every night i would stay up to watch champions league ( see the stars of my dreams in action ) Believe me i know about those teams. From that list i know about Liverpool and Man U the most because i adored those teams as i grew up, hence i might have biased towards liverpool a little as i stated above. my reasons why i listed those teams are all there, Arsenal right now is performing better than many teams both in the CL and EPL that is why i ranked them that high, man u's poor performance in the CL is what made me move them to the 10th spot, as for liverpool, they played decent in the CL and are 3rd in the premier, and strong in the FA cup, they've scored like 14 goals in their last 3 games. Bayern also will always be up there, because they produce many players that germany has had on their int. team and they can compete with any other team in the world. Just because Sao Paulo won against Liverpool in the World Club championship or whatever that was, it was a garbage win anyways, score did not reflect the game and liverpool overall has a better history of performing than sao paolo. Chelsea even though they lost to fulham in the premier and lost to barca in the CL, look at their team and their overall performance, they played excellent against excellent teams. With Ballack on his way there i think they will perform exactly the same next year. although crespo was their saviour, if they can grab eto'o from Barcelona then without a doubt i will predict right now a top 3 finish. AC Milan beat the dog crap out of bayern in the CL and the talent that their team has puts them in that top spot. Olympique is no different, they have demolished sooo many teams, and are playing some good hard soccer. Juventus is my prediction for the CL, i have to say i am reluctant putting them at the number 1 spot but its that vibe that they give out that makes them produce. They have very good players and i think they can win it. Barca, #1 in the league, strong wins in the CL, unbelievable talent: messi, ronaldinho, eto'o. Real madrid also has unbelievable talent, pretty much their whole team and i don't want to list them cuz if ur a soccer fan and u dont know real u should be slapped. THe only thing holding them back is poor finishing and poor coaching. Ronaldo is not feeling it there anymore but he deserves to be there, he's not playing like he loves the game, it might be his age but oh well, it shouldn't be an excuse with the talent that he possesses. In my opinion i like Romario better than Ronaldo but Ronaldo has had his fair share of opportunities and made use of them and he had the hot boot back in the day, its starting to fade away. sorry if u took my comment the wrong way but i wasn't directing the statement to u, i was directing it to the dude on SI.

yea that has happened to me before. Some times you can talk about something all day long and still have new things to say. next thing you know you have written a thesis on the message board.(I actually wrote one of my college papers on soccer growing in America because it was so easy for me to talk about)

No way Arsenal should be in the top 8. Lacking premiership form cancels out Champions League placement.

arsenal lacking Premier League form, i hate to say it to u but what crack r u smoking ???? !!!! They're 4th, no team is ranked in the top 5 of the premier without having form. And they have a lot of young talent, fabregas, glehb, reyes, don't doubt them, they are playing strong

don't underestimate him, he played a major role in beating real madrid, it was an excellent performace, he may not be consistent, but he showed what he is capable of.

Arsenal is 6th and Bolton has a game in hand. Wanderers get a win and the gunners move to 7th. Way to go there, smart guy.

Look who is out of the top 5 now, buddy. As I said earlier, they shouldn't be there due to their LACK OF PREMIERSHIP FORM. [Eek!] [Eek!]
