Although Celtic reclaimed the Title a couple of weeks ago, I was waiting for the result of the last Old Firm derby of the year to get a better idea of where Rangers will finish.
Now that the 0-0 result is history, Rangers still trail 2nd place Hearts by 4 points with 3 games to play.
Looks like and exciting last few weeks in Scotland.3rd place only gets Rangers a UEFA Cup berth.

I too was looking for a more interesting game but am glad Celtic have formally claimed the SPL. Although Boruc's magnificent save from Prso's header was definetely a good highlight from an otherwise dissapointing game. Also Petrov's free kick was a blazer but was saved well.

Hearts 3 - 0 Celtic

Dissapointing for the newly crowned champions, and Hearts gain an almost secured 2nd spot in the EPL. Two goals in the first ten minutes plus an own goal by McManus, Keane and McManus both missed great chances at the other end.

Bad news for Rangers; if Hearts beat Aberdeen on Wednesday they will be guaranteed the second position and a chance for the Champion's League.

Yes, this was not a good result for Celtic and I'm sure there are Rangers fans that feel The Bhoys tanked this one.Celtic however had most starters in and have already overcome a 2-0 deficit to them once this year, and Hearts are a strong team, especially in Edinburgh.
Rangers need a win today for any chance at Champions League qualification next year.

SPL News:

Hearts become the first non-Old Firm side to qualify for the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Aberdeen. Paul Hartley netted a second-half penalty to secure the win.

Celtic returned to winning ways with a 2-0 defeat of Kilmarnock, with a brilliant Zurawski again finding the net alongside Stan Varga.
