I think it does. They have not followed their own rules all the way through this thing. First they said you would get to select a whole new squad from a revised list after the group stages and you couldn't do that. Then they said you couldn't have more than 3 players from 1 team, now they say that because it's the knock out phase if its a transfer you can have more than 3 on one team.
Then they said you would get at least 2 transfers at each stage plus the chance to earn more.
I got 2 during the group stages, then 2 more for the round of 16. But now I can't get the 2 for the quarter finals. Like you I clicked on the e-mail and it said I had earned an extra 1 but I can't get it.
It's a neat idea but they have completely spoiled it IMO.
They are saying you will get enough transfers to have a full team on in the final but there's no way that can happen.

Yeah, well... Benp and I have enough different players that I might be able to make a try for him. I'm also in the World Soccer Daily group and want to make a run at a guy that's been taunting me about my bad transfer picks.

Congratulations to Easily Odd FC on a great comeback and Fantasy World Cup victory. I bow in defeat. But I must say:
1.) As long as Brazil is out, I’ll feel like a winner.
2.) Counting the third place game when both teams were eliminated seems a bit far fetched.
3.) I’d always rather lose than have Cristiano Ronaldo on my team.
