A ton of talent......not an ounce of chemistry.

USA suck, Poland are bad.....but France is soooooo painful to watch.

which begs the question, is this result, in essence, worse than the US losing to the #2 (i know the rankings are stupid) team in the world?

On bigsoccer, there is a thread about Freddy needing to go to Europe and that we needed him yesterday. But look at France and all their big name players and where they play club ball, yet they are not a very good team.

But the difference is, France got a point against a Swiss team that is actually not bad at all. USA got 0 points from a very good Czech team, but France has 1 point and a 0 Goal Difference and the US has 0 points and a -3 Goal Difference

The Swiss are good, and they played smart. The result was not what concerns me. What bothers me is how damn good the French players are and it just seems like they are playing together for the first time ever. They have big name players on their bench who play for ManU and Juventes. The US doesn't have anybody in their starting line up playing on teams like this.

Great players.....no synergy....tough to watch.

Having watched Togo and Korea earlier today as well.. I'd say France may be just as hard pressed for points as the US is if they don't work it out.

If France doesn't make it out of group..i'd say it's definitely worse than the US not making it out of group.

I just know that all the French students that I watched the game with were not very happy. Few of them came back later to watch the Brasil Croatia game.
