"It is with deepest of sadness and a tremendously heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Ashley Dent. As I know each of you will do, please continue to keep her parents Andee and Harry and her brother Trae in your thoughts and prayers during this time of grief and healing.

As soon as funeral arrangements have been announced, you will be informed." Ron Tryon, President, Columbia United FC

Terrible and tragic, my sympathy to the family.

Wow, thats terrible news. Keep us posted if something is organized as a memorial.....scholarship fund, something along those lines.

It is times like these that we need to take pause from our busy, hectic lives and reflect on the importance of hugging our kids everyday we can, expressing our love and respect for our children, as they struggle to find their way through the teenage years. But now, we must reach out to this family and community of Ashley's school friends and soccer friends, and let them know our sincere grief for their loss. Its tough enough to be a teenager, and deal with life's pressures and unfairness, and now its even tougher for them to deal with this senseless loss.
