Besides Bridge and CESA......what other teams are quality and will make a run this year at State Cup?

I think when these two teams play in their age group in the spring (assuming they both will), they will dominate. Bridge 93 would be my pick based on their head to head with the Cesa 93.

Pretty sure they didn't have Big Daddy's four boys from the suburbs of Charlotte.

Get ready to strap it on....should be a good one!

Hurst66: Please don't confuse people like that.

CESA has a policy of "social soccer" -- teams don't change much year to year in the interest of helping the "team chemistry" evolve and to allow both the children and the parents to bond in everlasting friendships.

So in no way will you see a CESA team get better year-to-year. It's not how good a soccer player you are -- it's how long you've been on the team and whether your parents are "connected."

P.S. <- That means that I'm being incredibly, totally, sarcastic.

Hurst,

CESA 93 and Bridge 93 play in Columbia on Nov. 6th and it will be an awesome game.

Reading a Southern Soccer....I saw where one of the Bridge kids made the U14 National pool.

Chico,

Thanks for the clarification....but I never questioned the "CESA mission". I give props to the organization that can reach out and "build bridges"....allowing the young ladies of the Asheville area an opportunity to play with the young ladies of the Charleston area. I didn't think I'd ever see these gals meet until I took in a UNC-Asheville vs. Charleston Southern Big South match, where they would most likely be on opposing teams. You've managed to bring them together four years earlier.....and put them on the same squad!

;>)

Daddy, this is a great age group where we see two quality teams from the two super powers square off in a fair fight. Should be fun!

Chico,

No reason to apologize. My comments in return are not meant to be malicious....just trying to be funny back.
