I just wanted to congratulate all the champions from this past weekends state cup...Everything seem to go fine at Summerville with the exception of some challenge league games that took place on Sunday afternoon..I did not make it over to James Island over the weekend.I did make a trip over to Foster Creek fields in Goose Creek and with the exception of two games the whole U18 boys group played there. The fields were way to small for these boys and what was not rye grass was sand.It made for some ugly soccer and I have a hard time believing that state officials decided that this was the best venue for these young men to play on.
James Island and Summerville both had regulation size fields that should of been used for this age group

yeah the fields we played on saturday, in the james island complex was waterlogged. The only decent field that we played on was the #2 annex...and it had a few sand patches. here are the tournament results.http://scysa.demosphere.com/schedules/Fall%202006/5813344.html

swanseawinger20: Congratulations on the win! Some stupid questions:

1) Is "Swansea" the same thing as "Lower Lexington"?
2) Who coached you guys?
3) Was there a dude named "Cody" from Orangeburg on your team?
