Dutch Fork junior, Danny Cates has been named to the 2006 NSCAA All-America Team. Cates is listed as a defender due to his affiliation with the Region Team and has played midfield and forward at DF. His freshmen year he was the team's 2nd leading scorer. He has recently traveled to Texas and Argentina in his efforts to make the US National roster and also attended the prestigious adidas ESP Camp in Connecticut, an invitation only camp. Cates was also named to the All-Region Team last year and this year and is the second Dutch Fork player in 5 years to make All-America. Corey Lugger was named All-America in 2002.
