RNE looks to have a good team this year
we almost beat valley in a game at the plex in which they had there best palyers and we were missing 3 of our best players

what has change is that we got better players this year
yea i know it was the plex but if we relly suck then they shoud have beat us by about 12+ goals

we will be decent this year i dont know about pretty good, we are returning eight startes and most of them are juniors, except for one and we finished with a record 0f 7-12 last yr. We are on a rebound and should make the playoffs with Irmo out of our region and RV falling off

are you serious? RV falling off? I don't think so. Since the topic of this is the PLEX, lets discuss. Ridge View has 1 loss being to one of the BC teams when Ridge View was playing wither 5 players, they have 2 ties, one is against the other BC team when RV had 6 players. The other tie came against the Irmo team in a well fought out match, although RV was missing 2 key players. RV beat RNE, and RNE barely beat the RV JV team. Yes its the PLEX, but how can a varsity team think they will be successful when they barely beat a JV team.
Also, RNE will make it to the play offs this year. That region only has 4 soccer teams in it, and guess what the top 4 teams go to the play offs. My Predictions:
1. SV takes the region championship as long as Parker and Seany get to play. The addition of Mike Czulinski will only make this team better.
2.3. Toss up between DF and RV.
2. DF
3. RV only because DF has a solid keeper and some returning experience like Danny Cates. Both teams will be young and rebuilding, but will easily take a weak RNE team.
4. RNE after going 0-6 in region play, RNE will show that nothing has changed in the past decade, and will go home early after losing their first round play off game.
That's just how I see it.

plex doesnt mean anything five people on a field is alot different than eleven. Im just saying we have a chance to top Ridge View this year I kno SV and Dutch Fork will still be good and how can we go 0-6 if LR is in our region think about it

Here it goes!!! The Spring Valley talk is back and better than ever!!! If Spring Valley is really what the talk is how come they have NO state championships!!! I can careless how good Irmo is because that will be the excuse, "Well Irmo's always been a powerhouse."

Frankly RNE probably will beat SV because of problems they have that may be rumors I have heard about!!! Paddy's gone and thats huge!!! Don't look for SV to go further than 2nd round!!!

I posted the post about Michael Czulinski. I've played with and against both players, he is just as good, if not better than Paddy. With some decent coaching, and a little more maturity he will be better than Paddy. Mike Czulinski has had D-1 colleges interested in him since the end of his sophmore season. Thats gotta tell you something.
And yes the rumors you have heard about SV are more than likely ture. I know the story about Parker and Seany, straight from the two of them. Thats why my earlier posts states that if the two of them can stay academically and legally eligible SV will be diesel again. If not they will still be competitive due to other players on that team. SV is a deep team, they don't revolve around 2 players. thats also why the loss of Paddy will not be as huge as you think.
as far as Northeast goes and the fact that they are returning a lot of starters. Why does that matter, they were not very good last year. they beat a winless Blythewood team in Overtime, they lost by 6 or sumthing like that to Ridge View, Lost Big to Irmo and DF. They only beat no body teams like LR.

he is pretty good ill admit, and by the way we lost 2-1 to RV last year and 3-0 to SV so we arent as bad as u think but i think it should be an interesting year, and yes i have played against him mnay times but hes not anything our sweeper manuel cant handle, and if those two cant play then we could possibly beat them

Mike is a good player but if our team has any strong points its definately the defense. If we could hold them to 3 points last year at SV, I think it could only get better. And you're right to assume that our starters from last year would not help but we also have gained alot of good players. Doubt all you want but i do have higher hopes for this year than any other in the past

O and speaking of the PLEX league...we lost to RV only because we had nobody there...we had maybe 1 or 2 actual starters and the rest were bench warmers playing. We still only lost by about 2 or 3. And yea you're right we did almost lose to RV JV, AFTER WE HAD JUST PLAYED SV 5 MINUTES BEFORE and most of our starters left. I dont care what you say SV took it out of us and we had nothing left for the JV RV team. With our starting eleven i honestly believe we can atleast stand up to RV during the real season.

I'm not here to get into an argument but I would just like to say that I wouldn't consider Dutch Fork's team to be young or rebuilding. 13 seniors. 9 or 10 senior starters most of whom played on high level club teams and they have one of the most talented underclassmen in Danny Cates.

i know that we will proably not win the region but i know that we will pull off some upsets if we play as a team
we have 2 good fowards who have great ball skills
we have 2 good central mids we need to find out who our wings will be
our defense is very good if they play as a unit
our goaly is descent
we will see what happens when we got on the field
in the blythewood game we went to overtime bc of the ref who game them 2 goals when the players were clearly offside

Man if you really feel this way then wait till the season comes around, and prove it on the field. Talkin up your team on some public message board over a month before play begins doesn't prove anything nor does it make people suddenly believe your team is capable of defeating teams such as Dutch Fork or Spring Valley. If you think RNE is going to be good then you don't have to come on the board and talk about your own team, beat somebody and then you can talk about it. Until then, just focus on getting prepared for the upcoming high school season.

rne is a decent team if coached right. we should definetly beat ridgeview and struggle against spring valley and duchfork. and as i have said if we find da right coach. da dude from laguna beach is good but am not sure long he gonna last wit us. we have an amazing defence and tough midfield and excellent forward who are not big but are able to beat any defender one on one. da only thing we are missin is outside mids.
