This pertains to Title IX at the college level and I saw it on the NC message boards:

"for soccer between d1 and d2 in the NCAA there are 528 women's teams and 370 men's teams. add in the difference in scholarships 13 for women and 9.9 for men, the "opportunities" are double for women... TITLE IX ROCKS. Sorry boys, try academics for scholarships!"

Chico.....I assume these numbers are correct?

The vast majority of registered nurses with bachelor degrees are female; thus by this reasoning males shouldn't attempt to get bachelor degrees. Of course, this is ridiculous for many reasons -- one of which is because it's readily recognized that nursing is only one major of many at the college level.

I think these guys are suffering from footballesia.

Footballesia: Noun. (Origin: Football + Amnesia.) The inability to remember that football exists in considering the ramifications of Title IX.
