in my opinion the new rankings will look somthing like this:
1. Northwestern
2. Lexington
3. Dutch Fork
4. Wando
5. Irmo
6. Spring Valley
7. Dorman
8. West Ashley
9. Mauldin
10. Summerville
Those are my top 10 after that it is most likely a flip of the coin, with some teams not playing and others loosing two games it is hard to say what the rankings will do that far down.

id say dutch fork should be in front of lexington. spring valley in front of irmo, and finally dorman should be behind mauldin.

I think Summerville will have a hard time this year. From what I saw at The Carolina Classic they were the smallest team out there. Lexington, Wando, and Spring Valley will all be strong this year. It should make for a fun and competitive year in 4A.

I would have put Dutch Fork in front of lexington if it weren't for the 5-1 loss. Spring Valley has issues on and off the field to deal with, but if they can get it together they have the talent to be a very good team.

I wont deny hes a good player but I mean shouldnt he have done something against us last year. I had to guard him and he did absolutely nothing against us, and all of those programs and things you mention are political you just got to know the right people. HEs good but not All American caliber.

Danny Cates was injured for most of last season, and if i'm not mistaken he scored against yall last season. One more thing, Danny Cates played forward last season for Dutch Fork, his natural position is center back, that's where he plays on the ODP team. Before you go bragging you shut him down, take into account all the facts first.

Maybe, but atleast clemson stayed ranked for awhile, made things interesting for the first part of the season. I doubt White Knoll can do that.

When white knoll beats someone in the top 15 of 4A then maybe they will be given some consideration until then beating up on 2A schools is child's play. White Knoll is a definate pretender at this point of the season.

real talk real talk its a shame that you have to look like an idiot in front of everybody. youre obviously a pissed off victim to the wildcats stellar and forceful defense. first off jason young is incredibly talented and can take any 5 star foward out of the game man to man when asked. second jess maki and graham howard might be small but they have made some of the best turnovers and stops ive ever seen. they are consistent every game and are a monumentous force to get past. drew howell is a big man and im not sure what game youve watched but he always gets the ball out under pressure. real talk you have not done your research and just talk out of anger... so just dont post any more until you finish your time out

that is correct, Jess was rehabing from a knee injury (i think MCL sprain) he got at Disney, and that limited his club playing time through out the entire club season. Kevin actually played outside left back for CUFC instead of his normal outside mid or striker position

he shut them down last year in the playoff game against northwestern.. their fowards barely got any shots on goal or really anything going. the only way northwestern scored was on a lucky ball bouncing off a northwestern players head on a throw in

Lexington can't have it both ways..if the set piece against Wando in Mt.P was a great goal then the throw that was the game winner for NW last year was too.

I went back and read the old thread related to the Lex/NW game last year. (about page 25 or so on main index) At the time I thought it was one of the best contests I had seen in a long time, primarily because of the way Lexington attacked defensively in the midfield, not giving Enzo or Kropp any time to build anything. Enzo was amazing that night, but I admit that I am a defensive minded guy, and I was impressed with how well Lex executed. I think that anyone who wasn't at that game and wants to comment about either of these two teams in relation to each other would be well served to go back and read the comments from both sides.

White Knoll proved my point for me last night. Losing 1-0 to a ben lippen team that lost 8-0 to an ok irmo squad. this could be an indication of how they do not come close to matching up with the elite in 4A.

last night RNE played Dutch Fork, DF won 3-0 they played well. We had our chances but couldnt finish but they refused to shake our hands after the game very unsportmanlike...and I stick with my opinion Danny Cates is solid but over rated

RNE is probaqbly the dirtiest team DF has faced. As for unsportsmanlike, after the foul by your player 5 minutes before the end that should have been a straight red, the coaches felt like there might be problems with any kind of interaction with your team. You had all of 3 chances the entire night. No one, including you should have an opinion about anyone on DF. You are not qualified. I believe you must have been the one sitting on your rear on one of the few times Danny went on a run up top. You looked pretty silly sitting on your rear while he dribbled by you. Maybe you and your boys should learn to play just a little before you bust other people. Good luck with your year, I am sure you might win another couple of games.

I support mr. cates here all the way. i have friends on df and every single one of them i have talked to said rne was pathetically dirty. DF worked the ball around RNE embarrassing them and after frustration set in rne didnt even try to play but just hacked. some of the df players said that was the first time they had second thoughts about going into a challenge due to their safety. For the record i hope RNE now shuts up, you got handled by the first good team you've played this year. go get better instead of wasting your time posting on a message board.
