I'll go w/ Wando 2-0

Summerville is an undisciplined team and will get frustrated early. The keeper is a big question mark also.

Summervile 3 - Wando 1

Many of these girls played together in club ball so it will be fun to watch them match up against each other - Even the JV game will ge fun since both teams are skilled at that level. Summerville girls teamwork has improved with each game and everyone is finally healthy. I am sure Coach Champ has her Wando girls in tip top shape so it should be a battle. Go Summerville.

I have to give props to Coach Champ for putting together a very competitive non-region schedule. Wando doesn't duck anybody and they will surely be battle-tested come May. Good job.

Summerville 2-0.

Wando seems to have trouble scoring. I think Kerstin Williams for Summerville will have at least one break away.

If she doesn't get tossed out for flagrant fouls after she gets beat.

Did the coach slide an unsuspecting trainer from behind after shaking hands?

Heeee heeee!!!! I thought, for some reason, that Kerston was the coach and that she was fouling people flagrantly after the game (when she got beat). I was trying to picture that one in my head and wondered how a couch could do such things! Sorry! Back to my hole...

That was not a hard one to call. After she gets beat she tackles from behind instead of working to get on the correct side of the ball. I've seen it happen in the club games alot. Throw in the big game atmosphere it was a no-brainer. Does she have to sit out any games?

I guess I was wrong about the keeper, it sounds like she did a good job in PK's. (The Paper says she stopped 3 in a row)

Griff...
You apparently didn't attend this game. Out of respect for the players, regardless of what you've seen in the fall, you shouldn't speculate in a public forum on why or how this one was issued a second yellow. It's one thing to comment on a team's performance, it's another to single out an individual on his or her character. Particularly if you're unwilling to reveal your own identity.
p.s. Congrats to Wando.

I did attend this game. I missed the first yellow card, but on the second, she tripped a WAndo player from behind. Knocked her feet right out from under her, not playing for the ball. Intentional!! To make matters worse, she ran off the field pulling off her jersey, kicked things on the bench, kicked the stadium wall and laid on the ground kicking. Wow! Worst behavior I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of soccer at all levels!
It was a great game and fought hard by both sides. I always hate to see a team lose by pk's when both played so well.

Again, it was not a tough prediction. Not getting back on the correct side of the ball is not questioning her character. I've seen a lot of kids with great character make ugly tackles. It sounds like it was 2 really bad tackles. I'm sure she has great character. Is that O.K. to say and remain anonymous? Thanks Coach.

I would stay on the Boys forum if I was you Coach. Griff you should stick with building up PP because they are going to have a challenge ahead with BE.

i really dont understand how being that ridiculously rude and obnocious only earns a one game suspension.

in the west ashley/bishop england game candace jordan was given a RED for throwing a supposidly "flagrant elbow". when given the card she calmly asked why and then after given her answer, walked off the field. didn't make a scene, cuss, throw anything, kick anything, etc.
...yet candace earned a possible TWO to THREE game suspension?
in review of the tape, candace's elbow didn't even make contact with the other player nor did it appear intentional... but she still has to sit.

williams' punishment should be more severe.

Some people say soccer's a matter of life or death, but it isn't...It's MUCH more important than that.

I say in the paper that Williams scored three goals against Goose Creek on Wednesday. Did Summerville play between Friday night (when she got ejected) and this Wednesday game? Summerville does not have a game schedule at their website. I was wondering is she sat out a game?
