Any thoughts on the Saturday match Waccamaw vs. Bishop England?

The Bishops have their Senior Studs that have been playing together for a long time (HS & Club). Waccamaw has a very good core group, but they are still young. In addition, Waccamaw has had some key injuries. In the end however, these two teams are the top teams in 2A.

I agree with that. They are the two best in 2A perennially. This year BE seems to be even better than in recent years and will be hard for anyone in 2A to touch. They are much more attack oriented. It is fun to watch, if you are not the opposing coach.

Now, I can't speak for this year, but having watched Waccamaw, BE, Emerald and Walhalla play last year...I can honestly say that (last year at least) Waccamaw was at the bottom of that list. I haven't seen any of the teams play this year as of yet. Did Waccamaw bring up some good 9th graders?

Interesting observation considering (Waccamaw beat Emerald 2-0 last year @ Emerald) and Waccamaw also beat Pendleton 5-1 @ Pendleton last year, and Pendleton beat Walhalla twice (1-0, 4-3). Yes, Waccamaw picked up a couple of 9th graders who are starting and only graduated 1 starting Senior. Unfortunately, Emerald, Barnwell, Walhalla, Etc. will only see BE, Waccamaw, or AJ in the state final this year...

Waccamaw certainly has a chance but seeing their defensive play this year it could get interesting. B.E. makes great runs off the ball and with a weak back Waccamaw will need to be hitting on all cylinders. Kicking and running will never beat possession. I predict one of two things, the game will be back and forth with a lot of drama taking in consideration Waccamaw plays at home and they can get one early or B.E. finally nets one and then the flood gates are open much like last years state semis Would like to see the Warriors get this one.

This one will be one to watch now considering B.E. lost tonight. Will Waccamaw catch them down or will B.E. really come out blazin?

Buford and AJ should be a good one tomorrow. Whoever wins should be in first place in their region.
