Dreher's goalkeeper is Margaret McCoy. She played outstanding. Coach K deserves some credit, too. He moved Ellison to forward with about 10 minutes left. The offense had trouble getting her the ball due to Flora's tough defense. Eventually she got it with some room to spare and was able to convert.
As regards Dreher and Flora being the teams to watch, Dreher is now 4-0 in the region and has yet to be scored on. Flora is their only competition in the region.
I cannot speak for all Dreher fans but it is nice to be out of the region with Chapin, BC, and Airport - all tough programs (not just teams).

O-W had players out and had to play very short tonight; hats off to the girls who showed up to do the job. They played with a lot of heart, and showed excellent sportsmanship from both the players and the coach. Positive vibes from this team despite the setbacks. Hope to see them continue to develop as they find out how great this sport can be!

Absolutly the worst job by a pair of refs I have seen in many many many years. In fact this one guy has a thread all about just him. Now I know why!!

Make that "had" a thread. I see it is now gone. Unfortunatly the truth hurts in this case......
