who saw the games? i personally think that all of them were very good games especially the Liverpool game. and yes, manu lost i saw it and promptly threw my remote at the tv when roma scored the game winner

saw the matches—or some/most—liverpool was impressive—especially the super lefty goal after the defender made a weak clear into the middle of the field (dont we teach not to do that to 5yrolds???)—

couldnt believe manu let the match slip after getting the tie—wow—disappointing effort—though i enjoyed the manu goal—great build up, calm finish—

Under the circumstances, a man down on the road, the result was not bad for ManU. They got out-shot significantly. If ManU wins 1-0 in the second leg at home next week, they advance.

..the 2nd goal is quite possibly the tightest goal I've ever seen. The space between Dida and the post was LITERALLY the width of the ball. Amazing. It may have been 90% luck..but wow..how clutch was it?!

Man United playing a man down for more than an hour and only going down by one goal was a very gritty performance. The away goal by Rooney was tremendous!

The violence toward the United fans was shamefull. Italian soccer is like looking at the English game decades ago! It was truely appaling to see police hitting United fans with camara's around their necks. Hooligans or the "English Disease" is now rooted in Italian Futball! Roma is a good side, hated to see the off field things spoil the beautiful game.....

the chelsea valencia game was great and thats going to be an interesting game next tuesday

Liverpool is looking impressively like the club of 2005 that won it all against Milan. Crouch is really coming into form now. Hopefully with Joe Cole back Chelsea can get a result in Valencia. Chelsea has not been at full strength all season long but will have to make due without Robben and Essien if he's out like he was in the first leg.

both were great games if you are an English fan. De Rossi's goal for Roma tho was maybe one of the nicest i have seen in quite awhile no doubt left by Man U tho should be an interesting semifinal
