For what it's worth, I think I posted Satoya's statistics after reading something in the newspaper; so you didn't start anything posting that here. Some of the criticism seen on the message board is that there's too much talk about the same teams week in and week out; that's one of the reasons I got interested in you folks. I'm hoping that some younger girls just starting recreation in your neck of the woods hear about Satoya and her teammates and get even more interested in soccer -- we need more kids playing. A coach asked me the other day after a game what club my girls played for, i was like they dont. Hopefully Florence will field a girls select team or something.

The rule in the HS League rulebook states "In the event a soccer game is called prior to completion of one half because of conditions, which makes it impossible to continue play, the game will be resumed from the point of interruption." Here is what the 2006-07 National Federation of State High School Associations, Rules Book: Soccer, has to say. And I quote "Rule 7 Article 3...in the event a game must be suspended because of conditions which make it impossible to continue to play, the head referee shall declare it an official game if one complete half or more of the game has been played. If less than one-half of the game has been played, the game may be rescheduled from the start, or restarted from the suspension of play according to state association adoption. (18-1-1jj)" Where is it stated how our state assciation wants to handle this issue? Every where else in the world the game starts over if it is stopped in the first half. Hey, it's not rocket surgery!
