I couldn't agree more with Whiskey & Easy. I am very proud of the turnaround the girls at Seneca have made but we still haven't gotten to a level they need to be at. Coming from a 2-13 program last year, I took over the team with a lot of improvements needing to be made. Our 11-8-1 record reflects some of those improvements having been made but every time we face a tougher opponent like Daniel/Greenville/TR we seem to back down. We can hold our own for a little while but once the stronger teams get two or three up on us, we seem to pack it in and get ready to go home. We not only lack quality wins, but we also lack quality losses. The majority of our games are won or lost by more than 3. Hopefully we can get up early or keep it close in the playoffs and they get some more motivation playing in the postseason otherwise the season will end sooner than some of them think.
I was actually hoping we wouldn't be ranked this year so I could use that as more motivation at the beginning of next season but I guess I'll have to come up with something else now so thanks a lot!!!
