Pinasco is a good coach, maybe a little over the edge at times, but a good coach. However, is throwing temper tantrums after player mistakes really good for the players? I mean what is that teaching them? Does that somehow help the player in some way?

I think so. He is a hell of a motivator and will do anything to help his team. This outburst just shows how much he really cares for the game and his team. So please leave it alone.

Welshwizard,

You would say any thing to support that coach. Were you at the game to see the coach’s behavior on the side line? The coach needs to keep his emotion in check, he is representing the school, and he is the leader of that group of boys. His actions were not acceptable by any standard. Kicking and screaming, he should have been in the movies as the lead actor.

This is not the first time Adrian has demonstrated emotional behaviour. He's very passionate about the game and uses his love for the sport to motivate his players. However when he has done it and Hammond has come back to win games in which they seemed out of no one had any problems with it. It is absolutely ridiculous that a parent came onto the field. At least he is a coach and he belongs on the field. Whatever woman was on the field need's to stay as far away from a soccer field as possible and let coaches do what they know best. For Adrian, thats motivating his players and trying his best to make them successful.

Ol' Uncle Dain is astonished that some will get on this public forum and defend a coach for throwing a temper tantrum.

Inconceivable...

Gotta agree with the common sense of these last 2 posters...when a coach screams and throws or kicks things, he is called, "amazing and passionate",(and he is getting paid to teach and encourage, not berate and throw things, by the way), but when a parent loses it, she becomes "Meltdown Mom", "irresponsible and obnoxious". Why the "DOUBLE STANDARD"??

Good call Rosicky. We shouldnt just be looking at the mom here. Pinasco had a "meltdown" to. Ive seen him have several other meltdowns as well, including one that got him a red in the first ten minutes of a game over a handball at midfield. Im not saying hes a bad coach, he just chooses to go way to far sometimes and that can effect the kids in the wrong way.
