Refuse to pick the winner of the PK's. Don't want any jinxes.

Some interesting things to look at. Irmo has one of its weaker teams in recent history, but has an excellent draw. Huge second round game between DF and Wando. I believe that is practically the lowerstate championship with Spring Valley being the only other team with a legit shot. Sad that one of those two excellent teams has to go home so early. Same for the Lexington vs. Northwestern game. Barring an Irmo or Dorman miracle I feel that winner of that game will represent the upperstate.
I think the state championship will resemble the battle those two teams had the first game rather than the pounding NW put on them the second time.

anyone think there will be any legit upsets. Obviously some will occur with 3 seeds beating 2 seeds but I'm talking about RNE knocking off West Florence which to me would not even be that much of an upset. The region with all the Florence teams is so weak.

I cannot believe Stratford beat Fort Dorchester. That is just crazy! Previously Fort beat them 8-0, and then when playoffs come around, stratford wins 6-4. Simply unbelievable...Congrats to Stratford though. If they manage to get through spring valley also, then I may have a heart attack.

Dear yoyo, you seem to forget the 2-1 OT game earlier in the season. Stratford's coach has done a great job in his first year as coach. Just in case, I have a friend you hopefully will need, his number is 911 !!!!!

Great game last night in the lowcountry. Coach Pelton did a great job preparing his troops, but it seemed as if the Knights wanted it a little more and they, too, came ready to play! Congrats to the Fort on a great season and good luck to the Knights in their quest for State! GO Stratford!

Stratford has been very strong since that last Fort D. embarrassment. The game last night was 2-0 at half and at one point 6-2 with @ 15 min. to play. They are at full strength now with out injuries and are playing soccer vs. kickball. SHS vs. SV is going to be a great game. SV will not walk through to the next round. If and I mean if they do go to RD 3 they will be limping. It was a complete TEAM effort and yes Savage 5 goals and 1 assist.

Don't forget about Hillcrest in Region 2. They will give Irmo a workout.
