Had a feeling it would be a first-half score and a hold-on for the win for Wando...they're really good at that. Congrats to the Lady Warriors; good to see someone from our region winning the big one! Makes our loss to them seem all the more respectable! :-)

I never got to see Lexington score, but from all accounts, the Lady Wildcats are an excellent and deserving team; congratulations on making it to the finals and for a great season!

I like striker’s idea about a restart but I don't think that would ever be possible. I would think 12 players on field would be a RED card. Should play a man/ woman short. I know if you walk off the field with out a proper substitution then you will receive a Red Card. This happen at a game I was coaching. Coach yelled at one of his players to stop being lazy and the kid instead of responding to his coach just walked off. Kind of funny but the team was punished by playing a man down

The wando captain was yellow carded due to having 12 players on the field--that's the rule. She then came off the field. Play was restarted at about the 2 minute mark. Not sure how long the 12th player was on the field(I think a couple of minutes). Lexington's coach was 1st yellow carded and then red carded for the last 2 minutes.

Thanks, Coach Morris.

Close matches—deserving teams. Shame AAAA always seems to end in drama.

It is my impression that Wando last subbed near 3:34 (no one came out?), at least under 5 min. to go. Play was stopped around 2 to 2:20 left and resumed there.

Gunners-I agree--there were 12 players on the field for under 2 minutes.

The big question is why the 4th ref, who's duty is to be responsible for subs, did not notice one player came on and then none came off?

the refs did not call numerous fouls and it does not suprise me that they did not "notice" the 12th player
