That is good to hear about Luis Arrieta. He was selected to the 2004 Super 18 Team by SCSoccer.com. Very talented forward from Mauldin.
I believe, without looking through the records, that Corey Lugger of Dutch Fork was the NSCAA All-American that year from S.C., and he was named to just about every all-star team there was that season. This past fall, Lugger was selected to the NSCAA/adidas All-South Team in Division 1 after collecting 11 assists for the Mountaineers.
That was a talented year for Palmetto State prep soccer!
