What a great opportunity this tournament is. SCISA schools get left out of the conversation when talking about the best schools in a certain sport.

This is a great opportunity for Hilton Head Prep which is undoubtedly the best girls soccer team in SCISA to prove or disprove that they belong in the same breath as the best teams in South Carolina.

The fact that this tourmanent is later in the season so that the teams have had a chance to get on the field and practice and play also make it significant.

Many of the early season tournaments are scewed because of the basketball and soccer seasons overlapping each other. 7 of the Hilton Head Prep starters on the soccer team did not join the team until after winning their fourth straight state basketball championship on March 1st.

Tournament Format:
* Each team will play three games!

· Games will be played in two 35-minutes halves with a five-minute halftime throughout the tournament.

· If the game is tied at the end, the result will be decided by two five-minute sudden death overtime periods. If game is still tied after the two five-minute periods, then teams will automatically go to a penalty shootout.

· In case of inclement weather, the tournament committee will decide playing options and will notify coaches of each team.
