Socastee 0-4 Mauldin
Socastee 0-2 Wando
Socastee 0-2 James Island
we didnt play Porter-gaud due to the rain situation
-the first game was scruby and we didnt play well
-wando has a pretty good team but mostly hieght there goals were both headers
-and the last game both there goals were lucky
*most talent i saw from this tournament was sumter and they won

Kunta, I watched two out of the three games Socastee played in between games at the tournament and i would have to say that Wando and James Island both beat Socastee 2-0 and I both games were more than luck. Both teams did very good in the tournament with 2nd(Wando) and 3rd(James Island) place finishes. No offense to Socastee but the better teams won.

#9 on Mauldin is Luis Arietta he plays club for St.Giles Revolution. He scored like 37 goals last year for Mauldin.

What happened to the Tournament today (Sunday)? I was at Patriot's at about 11:45 am. The teams in the 12:30 Championship game should have been there warming up by then. If the games had been delayed, there should have at least been teams there b/c of the amount of games scheduled for earlier in the day. When I showed up, there was only a few C of C baseball players. Also, there was no board displaying game results or notifying people if the games had been moved or postponed. I drove down to Wando High to see if the games had been moved but nothing was going on there either.

What happned to the games that were scheduled for Patriot's and, if the games had been moved, why was there nothing to notify people of where the games had been moved to?

#9 on Mauldin is over-rated. We, Porter-Gaud, played them, and yes they beat us, but #9 is not as good as you guys say. All you have to do is watch the ball. All he does is dance on it.

I would like to hear from anyone who has seen James Island play--

I have heard that Jim Coman is taking some time off from coaching. But, did James Island High replace him with another "soccer guy" or did they replace him with just a run of the mill coach? Also, how does the girl's team look with the lady who is coaching them? Is the team living up to their potential or could they be doing a lot better with a "soccer person" coaching them?

The JI coach this year is Chris Parsons. He was the assistant at T.L. Hanna last year. He played soccer for The Citadel. He also does summmer camps for Lundy and has spent time overseas. He is quite suited for the job and should maximize JI's potential.
