The Battery used to sponsor a 3 v 3 tournament the first weekend in December....don't think they do so anymore. Is anyone aware of a 3v3 or 4v4 event that is "local" (within 100 miles of Columbia) that is in the Dec/Jan time frame?

I believe jekyll Island had one last winter..It was a qualifer for the one they have down in Orlando..

Not interested in Disney....we did that at u12 in 3v3. It was fun....but IMO not worth doing again. Just looking for an option for my kids to compete in the offseason, if they want to.

For what age and Gender.

The Carolinas had two real good 3v3 teams that were Disney nat'l champions 3 or 4 years back. (1-b SC & 1-g NC)

Anyone know if the Carolinas are still well represented on the national stage in 3v3?

The crew is a locl team based in G'ville that will be playing in the Kick-It worlds @ Disney in January. They are playing in the U-14 Comp girls division. The team is comprised of all premier/ODP players with players coming from Florida and Charleston to be on the team. Although playing in the U-14 division the players play club ball for different clubs ranging from U-15 premier to U-18 premier.

Sweet feet, who coaches this team? Do you think they have a chance to win it all, and how did they do at the regional?

The coach of the team is Anthony Solomon. Coaches and players know him by his nickname "Speedy". This team has the talent to win it all, I would be very surprised if they failed to win. At regionals, they outscored the teams they played 68-3. This team scrimmages against a certain womens college team that wears orange.

"Speedy" is also going to be coaching the SKREAM a group of U-10 (One U-11) CESA girls who also competed at Disney last year. They won the state tournament in Statesville, North Carolina then took 3rd at Regionals. They are pretty darn good for little ones.

I think "Speedy" has trained several of the CESA girls on the SKREAM team over the years, however as far as Disney, I would be suprised if he would spread himself that thin. To my knowledge the only 3 V 3 team he has trained full time has been "THE CREW".

The girls have a solid chance to do well. As far as winning, anything can happen. And yes, they did dominate in Rock Hill at regionals.
