RIII ODP has competition for players from the Academy as well as USL Super Y ODP. Competition breeds excellence. There is no reason in the world why all three of these programs can't co-exist in a country the size of the US, but each of them must put their version of excellence front and center in order to keep and attract players.

Let's hope RIII takes this issue seriously and steps up what now appears to be an obvious weak link in their program by commiting the resources needed to bring their website up to speed.

Region III has finally posted the Thanksgiving Interregional Rosters for the 1991, 1992 and 1993 Girls (They may have posted the boys - I didn't check). It is interesting to note that not one single girl from SC made the Rosters for this event. Both North and South Texas fills the majority of each age group. You would think with SC doing so well at RIII Camp this summer there might have been at least one SC selection.
