A straight red for Espinoza would have been a fair trade. Ref should have taken a better look at Valentin's mug before he chose his punishment. No way that boy was getting back in the game.

The ball never comes up to his chest on the replay. He clearly knocks it down with his right hand or elbow. It was right in front of the AR, since Ref was still back on other end.

Also, stats were incredibly even-

I Am a Ref. I clearly know the definition of clearly.........and it was "clearly" knocked down.

Being a referee doesn't mean you see or do anything "clearly." I wouldn't boast that as justification.

I clearly issue Beezer a Red Card.........

I was at the game. It wasn't a handball; didn't even look like a handball.

Tracy, who committed the handball, does not sound definitely 'clear' about the call -

Tracy, who tied the game in the 66th minute with a goal on a feed from Cody Arnoux, disagreed with the Buckeyes' assessment.

"I've played in a lot of games, and controversial calls have gone both ways," said Tracy, who was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Offensive Player after tallying three goals and an assist in the College Cup. "I don't think it was a handball personally, and they didn't call it. So that's just the way it goes."<
