CESA Announces College Player Exposure Combine for January 2008

Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA) will host an event to showcase potential College soccer players at the MESA Soccer Complex in Greenville, SC on January 26. This will be an opportunity for both Male and Female players to compete while being evaluated by college coaches. This event is open to all Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior players regardless of club affiliation. Interested players should complete the registration form, which is now located on our home page. We look forward to seeing you at this event. The schedule is detailed below.


Saturday, January 26
1:00 – 1:45pm Registration
1:45 – 2:00pm Introduction
2:00 – 3:00pm 7v7 Matches (All Players)
3:00 – 3:30pm College Coaches Q&A (Boys)
3:45 – 5:00pm 11v11 Matches (Boys)
3:00 – 4:15pm 11v11 Matches (Girls)
4:30 – 5:00pm College Coaches Q&A (Girls)

Note: GK Training will be provided. The schedule will be updated accordingly and as soon as possible.

that's a nice list of coaches

Do they do this for the benefit of the kids or so they can get good players in one place to make their (CESA's) "recruiting" more efficient (you know, like the ODP travesty of the past couple of years)? Just curious.

if they were just doing it for cesa to recruit players i do not think they would put the effert into getting the college coaches there.
